The Hybrid Calendar

A calendar to promote climate change awareness.

There Is No Planet B is an individual project designed to raise awareness and educate on the topic of climate change. The 32-page calendar gives insight into the delicate and growingly important topic by confronting the users with a monthly spread of beautiful photography put in contrast with a fact and explanatory information of the ugly truth of the changing climate. The monthly two pages incorporate one of twelve icons designed by me, as well as an instructive To-Do. The To-Do ought to motivate the user to incorporate one action into his or her everyday life to make the planet 'greener' and stronger.

The A4 calendar is 'hybrid' since it can be used hung on a wall using metal binding clips or simply standing on the desk. Through the Wire-O binding, the calendar's pages have a good turning behaviour and flexibility, therefore, the calendar can be used single-sided or double-sided. The hybrid calendar produced in a fictional collaboration with Greenpeace.
