IGN has been in charge of exclusively sharing the images of these iconic creatures from The Lord of the Rings and we have been surprised by the quality of the prosthetics that we rarely see in a production for a television series and that seem to be taken from the movies. Peter Jackson movies . You can see them below:

The prosthetics department for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is led by Jamie Wilson, who has worked on every installment of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit movies . Lindsey Weber , executive producer of the series, explains in an interview with IGN that the knowledge and love of orcs is quite present in the creative team:

"I love creature design, so I'm very happy to talk about this topic. JD and Patrick, the showrunners of the series, had dedicated the first page of their bible to orcs. They have a real passion for them. They love prosthetics and design. They felt I needed to explore it given that we are in the Second Age and thousands of years before the events of the Third Age. It was very important for them to treat them as their own culture and explore their world."
