This series was shot at at an LA midcentury modern style house on Welsh Gower coastline, and is based on the unspoken narratives of motherhood. It is inspired by classic thriller and horror movies of suspense - think Hitchcock with a hint of Kubrick and a touch of Crewdson. Set in the past but still representing the present we experience a chilling tale of voyeurism, invasion of privacy, loneliness and despair. This narrates a fraction of the story of motherhood. One cannot talk for everyone but it is a daunting feeling that plagues the masses resulting in the inevitable breakdown of relationships between friends and family. Yet it also touches on the idea of matriarchy at home and suggests much more than just power.
