" To make as many mistakes as possible, as quickly and as cheaply as possible" - Alec Issigonis
This quote was the wise words given by our tutor for this project and it really pushed me to stretch this process of making within the given project time.
My chosen material for this project was "Ceramics", what I love about ceramics is the character of it being unpredictable. It has so many potential and many outcomes that could possibly happen. I mainly looked into the possibility of absorption. Whilst research I realised many artists/crafters had played around with absorption with ceramics before, using a sponge to absorb slip and create a firable form. This time I want to combine the making process of knitting and slip absorption. And the following are my outcomes and experiments.
