This project focuses on using in camera techniques to manipulate an image as opposed to using digital manipulation. My work has always been more about the journey I take to get to the final images, and that is what makes it art.
Being in front of a camera rather than being behind it results in me bringing out different sides of myself I didn’t even know existed. It causes me to build up a wall but it also helps me to break it down at the same time.
This body of work portrays just a few examples of how different we act when we are alone versus how we act around others. The Lady in Red is not only an experiment into in camera techniques, but also an experiment into my personality.
