The Lily Pond- 'Summer Picnic'

'Summer Picnic' is a celebration of the natural world, exploring the beautiful colour palettes and sense of joy that summertime brings. My scarf design is a digital print of an original painting from my project 'The Lily Pond,' where I investigated the context of fine art. Using intuition as the driving force behind my paintings to respond to the natural environment around me, the scarf design transforms a fine art painting into a wearable piece of art. This particular design won third place in the 'Life is a Mesh' Scarf Design Competition.
