Desire is an extremely complex and ambivalent concept, you can find it in any human, cultural, anthropological field. It is a current and ubiquitous term, we employ it in order to cope with our dailylife as well as to define our identity/es as persons but also as consumers, prosumers. Especially in nowadays the borderline between our desires and needs have become more and more ambiguous than even before...
My thesis started from a research on desire and need and their ambiguous relantioship, and wanted to translate them into visual metaphors.
The research brought me to meet and get to know great variety of realities and people, and it ended up in the realization of a new magazine, a sort of a bookazine that reflects the topic in shape, materials, images and content.
