The Mayor of London's Diwali Festival
Audience were appointed by the GLA as the lead production partner to develop and deliver London’s Diwali festival of lights for the Hindu, Jain and Sikh communities. The Diwali Festival is a family-friendly event and open to all, which meant that safety and crowd management were a key focus for us. Alongside this, high production values, innovative programming and experienced onsite management were essential to create a successful event. The event was primarily based around a stage programme featuring traditional and contemporary arts and culture presentations but complimented with a focus on street food market on the lower terrace of the square serving a diverse range of cuisines. The event also included several sponsor marquees and stalls for business community organisations to be located on the north or lower terraces, all of which was Audience’s responsibility to manage.
