The Ministry of Pink!

For my final university creative project, I created a series of posters and images inspired by the modern-day values of Barbie, intersecting with the historical events from the Second World War that affected work, particularly 'women's work'. Investigating the use of propaganda posters mainly distributed by the Americans, I developed thought-provoking outcomes that are made to probe history. I had such an amazing team around me the day we shot this project, including my fabulous models, Fomba, Yngvild, Emma, Zelda, and Safy. The strong MUHD team of Elizabeth, Lauren, Rhiannon, Aida, and special thanks to Alex who helped me figure it all out days before flying back to Canada!
