The Moonboy

'The Moonboy is in search of a friend. On his adventure to Earth he discovers it might not be as easy as he thought...' I have always been a child at heart, and I found it most relevant to delve into a story that touches those mystical and fantastical elements of story telling within children's literature. With an aim to reach out to an audience between the ages of four and eight, the story is illustrated using abstract methods to engage the child's imagination. I created the book using a variety of mediums such as oil paints, watercolour, ink, bleach and oil pastels, which I then brought together on Photoshop.
