HORSES TO WATER. The chairs at events are never comfortable. Bafflingly so. Conference companies earn their crust by putting bums on seats, yet arses go numb, spines compact like mouldy pears. From moment numero uno of your presentation, you’re fighting for your audience’s attention. It’s your mission to be remembered over that wobbly folding seat in Conference Room B. Part of what I do is storyboarding panel discussions for events. My copy had to hit the right lines for Global's B2B audience, while planning beats and moments for the audience to say OH MATE. For The Podcast Show, I had to make sure the discussion was interesting enough for the audience and a springboard for podcast superstars The News Agents. This panel talk closed the whole show. And I couldn’t be more proud of it.
