The Night Manager Book Cover Design

The concept behind this cover draws off of the themes of the anonymity within Le Carre's novel. Many of the main characters hide their true identity or intentions for good or bad and add to the ever growing mystery of the plot. This, alongside the themes of deception and confusion within The Night Manager, are what led me to make a maze in the shape of a fingerprint for this cover. Characters are always searching for who is being true in their actions and who is only putting up a facade to maintain the power of evil. To construct this cover I made a 3D fingerprint out of small paper cuttings and then with the help of Photoshop rendered in a man getting lost in the maze of identity.
