The Observatory

The Observatory is a proposal of 5 pavilion spaces along the River Thames in Isleworth that invigorates dialogues with our Solar System through interactive spatial experiences. Each pavilion informs the visitors on the relationship between time and space at a particular scale in the Universe: from the notion of time in relation to the solar system to the notion of time in relation to the process of decay on Earth. This passage of time is indicated in each pavilion through physical changes such as the movement of certain parts or at times, their destruction even.
