The original brand for Peak, now the world’s #1 brain training app

Peak is a front runner in the brain training world, striking the perfect balance between fun and utility. At the close of 2016, the multi award-winning app had been downloaded over 15 million times. London-based app company Brainbow wanted to build a new, relevant and enduring global brand. They created Peak with a view to combine scientific credibility with an accessible world of engaging fun. Together with Peak’s team of neuroscientists and game designers, we developed the key brand message, ‘Enjoy becoming better every day’. From this, we built a brand that married the worlds of colourful play with practical utility, through an easily applicable, striking identity system. Since its launch, Peak has been named Best App in 2014 by Apple, and Google Play chose it as the Best Self Improvement App in 2015 and 2016. Creandum led a $7M Series A round in 2015, joining a high profile lineup of investors including DN Capital, Qualcomm Ventures, Initial Capital and London Venture Partners. In December 2016, Hachette Livre acquired a majority stake in Peak, making Peak Proxy's first exit.
