To launch Glenfiddich's recreation of their 1963 Straight Malt, we created a historically accurate 1960's members bar at Goodwood Revival called 'The Original Club'.
Patrons were transported to 1963 with every element within the space considered. Antique furniture from 1963 was sourced, collateral designed then reproduced using methods of the time, and historic footage edited to play through a retro-fitted 1963 television. The centre piece was a 5 meter custom-made, circular bar designed using historic references and finishings. These elements drove the conversation around the significance of Glenfiddich defining the single malt category in 1963.
A campaign to engage trade and press started with exclusive invitations using 1963 LPs leading into a hosted day hightlghted with theatre stunts and exclusive tastings.
