The Ozians

As a child my mother would sit me inside my highchair and would play the film the Wizard of Oz. She said that I loved the film so much that she would have to re-play it over and over again. She then took this opportunity to begin putting pieces of blank paper in front of me. I then began drawing the different characters from the film which started my artistic journey at a very early age. Continuing this throughout middle school and high school I found my passion in the art of photography. Taking a film that started my love for the arts and mixing it with fashion photography is what I wanted to create. This project is not only nostalgic for me but has also allowed me to create my own version of the characters from OZ.
