Venice, an ancient palace. A phone call, a mysterious note, a peonies bouquet. The Painting follows Elisa Sednaoui through the city, crossing mysterious tips, a key, that will lead her to a painting. Her painting. A frame that hides a surprise.
Set in Venice, the film, entitled THE PAINTING, captures Europe’s timeless glamour, while avant-garde cinematic elements add a surreal quality. Throughout the film, Sednaoui wears pieces from Tory Burch’s new Fall collection – a chiffon dress, a jacquard sweater and coat and mikado pants – that feature bold tapestry patterns in a rich, winter-red palette as well as a long, white caftan with embellished trim. The collection was inspired by Marrakech meets Chelsea and the London bohemia period in the late Sixties.
