Ursula Connolly wanted to transform and scale her consultancy freelance business into a brand. People Skills Business has a varied customer base within the hospitality industry, however the core of the business is about teaching and learning, and is aimed at busy and pre-occupied staff. Therefore we wanted to create a brand that felt approachable, fresh, and concise. Brand Strategy Story With competitor research, customer analysis, we redefined her USP. This informed the visual identity development of her branded assets. Story was key, developing a customer focused messaging system, with strapline, one-liner and extended messaging system. We streamlined the name, and developed a logo based on the idea of a formula which also served to emphasize the nature of the business. We looked at mid-century aesthetics for our colour palette, and contemporary illustrators for our inspiration for the brand textures.
