The Rites of Incorporeal Sight, 2021

The Rites of Incorporeal Sight, 2021 has both elements of a digital landscape projected onto a woven globe sculpture and the wall behind it. The disparity between a tangible object and an incorporeal glimpse of a landscape that captivates the viewer. The landscape projection will pull the viewers eyes to the horizon which reorders the viewers perception of what they are seeing. The Globe invites the viewer to invade its proximity by walking around it, this allows for the detail of each weft in the woven surface to be seen.
