My Final Year university Collection began with the true tale of a remarkable two woman journey from Geneva to The Orient, documented by journalist and photographer, Annemarie Schwarzenbach in 1939 is the fascinating inspiration behind my Graduate Collection. Acting as a muse with her fearless and unique masculine style unseen from women of those times, and combined with dazling aspects of the eastern journey, this is a collection of tailored silks, billowing voiles, cow hide and embellished prints. Sandy tones, rich browns and pinks are highlighted through the Persian carpet used within the garments which has informed the colour palette and structure of the collection.
