Ruskin was a renowned teacher, lecturer and public intellectual, who campaigned for education for all. As a leading critic of his era and early environmentalist, Ruskin transformed the way we think about art and life. The Ruskin – Library, Museum and Research Centre celebrates Ruskin’s relevance to our world today. Our graphic approach, inspired by Ruskin's connections between Art and Nature, conveys his 'truth to nature' by using a simple and organic approach to typography. We designed a bespoke display typeface with organic curves echoing the fluidity of his drawings. Following Ruskin’s and our own commitment to the environment, we designed the exhibition and the printed collaterals using natural and recycled materials.
