RA: Late 'Vienna Cabaret' The Royal Academy of Arts, Piccadilly, London January 2018 For our thirteenth installation for the RA: Lates we were invited to dress the entrance of the Fine Rooms. We created a 2m x 2m room in the centre containing a homage to Berta Zuckerlander’s infamous salons. The toast of Viennese society - and arguably the birthplace of the Secession itself. The room contained photos and trinkets alluding to her life and work, and her famous guests. Audiences could join the ranks of the Secession by signing the salon guest-book. A gold leaf mobile hung across the beams above - illuminated with gold light, echoing the dome of the famous secession building in Vienna.
