The Senator's Son

Nicky Fairhope is the son of a Texas senator. When he is arrested, drunk and on drugs, and charged with intoxication manslaughter, his father hires private investigator Shelby Pangbourn to prove his innocence. But when she begins her investigation, she hits a roadblock at every turn. Everyone is telling her the same story: that Nicky was driving the car that night, that he had been drinking and popping prescription drugs, that he hit and killed a motorcyclist. Everyone, that is, except Nicky Fairhope, who continues to maintain his innocence. Will Shelby get the truth, or will she fail the senator and his son?
