The SMM Strategy you will need to stay relevant in 2020

Are you trying to grow your business’s social media in 2020? *Save this for later* Yesterday I spent the majority of the day researching about social media strategies for Q4 of 2020-2021 so you don’t have to! I knew that since lockdown the way people interact on social media has changed and I wanted to know the insights of how leading companies and entrepreneurs are positioning themselves in order to grow with this change. 2020 has been all about being phone-centric and the rise of TikTok. ‼️So here it is: A relevance volume model in a micro contextual and creative form content. What does that mean? A relevance volume model means that the content you put out is relevant to a certain group of individuals (“Hello to all the Photographers…”, “Did you lose your job during the pandemic?”) Short videos are very valuable, especially if you are grabbing people’s attention and creating relevance in the first 3-4 seconds!!! With this content, you can now start micro spending on ads (£20, £50, £100) to see if there’s something there, and then ladder up the content that is working. Look at the common themes (e.g. humour, positivity, vulnerability) and then you can make the big video or post. Example of this strategy: Putting out 4 pieces of content a day targeted at 10 different groups of individuals against 4 different platforms and creating relevance for the end consumer. I know I keep repeating myself but here it is one more time: 1️⃣ Relevance 2️⃣ Reach Let me know what other social media trends you are expecting to see for the rest of 2020 and going into 2021!
