"The Table" mural at St Margaret’s House

"The Table" is a bespoke mural for arts and wellbeing place St. Margaret’s House in Bethnal Green, my local. It was such a delight to work on large scale mural and I would definitely love to do more. A long table can represent so many things… be it a long awaited gathering of friends, homecoming or a lively local community, it encapsulates a feeling of union and happiness for all. So I imagined the longest table in Bethnal Green, spreading across 3 walls to make it a continuous large piece in one! This work aims to spark joy to every person passing by - regardless age, gender, sexuality and ethnicity, make them feel welcomed ❤️
