Newspaper headlines: Throughout the paper key quotes have been pulled from the dissertation ,acting as subheadings find in an ordinary newspaper. Such quotations have been key to both the visual and contextual development. Each have the intension of creating an emotion impact, by discussing ideas such as the correlation between being ‘fat’ and brave. The initial idea of creating a newspaper out of the dissertation was the to challenge challenge any preexisting attitudes towards female body issues and areas of taboo issues which surround the topic. Typically newspaper readers are of an older generation where such negative attitudes can be found. The salmon coloured newsprint was chosen to not only mimic flesh tones, but also stand next to traditional papers such as the Finical Times.
