THE ΤΕΛΟΣ SOCIETY Vol. II / ISSUE Θ

  • Nia Hefe Filiogianni

I am honoured to be a guest editor for THE ΤΕΛΟΣ SOCIETY Vol. II / ISSUE Θ, presenting twenty Θ figures of Contemporary Greece. Θ for what? Θ Θ from θοός - thoós meaning shining and glowing or from θέω - théō meaning running or traversing. Θ for the deities found among us and not the glowing celestials ones that traverse the skies. Θ for the θείο - theío (divine) that no longer roams the skies but inhabits the streets. Θ for the earthly Θεά - theā́ (Goddess) who temporarily possesses the bodies of mortals in everyday life. Edited by guest editors Nia Hefe Filiogianni, Aikaterina Nefeli Kaoutski Kaoutski, Nikolaou Katerina and Eirini Vlavianou.
