An exercise in the art of versatility, inspired by the cross-discipline work of Dieter Roth that explored mediums spanning from sculpture, paintings and graphics. His most famous works were created from rotting food, resulting in living sculptures that grew and evolved over time and explored themes of erratic growth. Contrasted in this project is the historical narrative of the Castrati - a group of boys castrated by the Catholic Church to preserve unworldly singing voices and resulting in grotesque body changes at an erratic pace. Exploring my versatility as a designer, this project explores sculpture, knitwear, leatherwork and print.
