The Walk to the Well

The Twitter thread tells the story of Ann’s daily walk to collect water and will take people from her house, on a gruelling journey through physical threats and mental struggles to where she collects water. Ann is from Mwingi West in Kenya, one of many communities Just a Drop is helping to gain access to safe clean water. The idea was to make the scroll as long and hard to endure as Anns journey so to scroll for a very long time. I created a type treatment for over 2000 individual frames, a social appearance across multiple channels and an OOH poster campaign to go with it.
