In September 2015, Claire McGurk hired me to set up and design the hall that was hired for her wedding reception. Mrs McGurk gave me details of what she wanted her reception hall and tables to look like and informed me that her wedding was a 1950s themed wedding.
During my months of planning, I researched the 1950s to see what was popular and fashionable back then. From then I went on to hire and purchase items for the reception.
The night before the wedding, I travelled to the reception venue and set up the hall and tables to have prepared for the next day.
