The youth of expressive art

  • Khaleel Johnson

From the age of 16, I have been obsessed with the idea of self-expression. Being conflicted with my own identity my work has grown with me. Meeting and photographing people shaping their area and trying to understand what identity means to them. The most frequently occurring theme was fashion, the way in which people present themselves is often the first impression people can get off them, so it makes sense that so many people saw the power of first impressions. Photos are from Berlin, London and Paris.
