These Are Our Friends Too

An album in partnership with women's rights charity FORWARD to raise awareness of issues around female genital mutilation (FGM). Sixteen female composers from Egypt, Iran, Lebanon, Turkey, Bulgaria, Serbia, Sweden and the UK create experimental music pieces using poetry on the themes of FGM. All proceeds from sales go to the FORWARD charity.
