Through The Mechanical Eye Book
Through The Mechanical Eye is a study that looks into the minds of various different musicians through intimate interviews to identify the meanings behind their song lyrics.
Through The Mechanical Eye is a celebration of the creative mind that dives deep into how musicians think. The aim of this book is to make people that are interested in music aware of the different thought processes that go into writing a song allowing us to appreciate the song more. This gives the audience insight into the musicians in question which brings about a connection as this understanding makes them closer to the musician.
This book brings together both my opinions on the ways musicians write their songs and the musicians thoughts towards their songs. The interviews were created specifically so that they have to look deep into their minds to find what their lyrics are really about.
