"Through the Valley"

“Through The Valley” is an original piece by the Groningen-based dance company “Teddy’s Last Ride”. Together with two other Minerva students we designed and produced the set for the performance. What the director wanted from us was a space that gives the feeling of a bar but not in the most usual way. The constructions of the two tables and the bar are made out of steel and wood. Part of the set was also the white curtain (most important for the projection team) as well as several smaller props which we also made ourselves. In July 2018 the piece won the audience prize for best performance during the “Spr!tzl” festival in Amsterdam.
