through your eyes only

This project has developed starting by questioning how clothes and the way we style can effect upon the public perception of our identity. We drew from Simon Clarke's theory on how identity is constructed by others and society and we asked 'WHAT IS TRUE IDENTITY?'. We placed a dressed up model in the middle of a white cube space. Here the audience was asked to capture the true identity of the model by means of disposable cameras. The interaction with the audience was further stimulated by setting up a website page (throughyoureyesonly.com) where we uploaded all the outcomes creating a photomontage and under the creation page, we invited the audience to make one their own. On the website you can play also a video I have produced as part of the 'revelation' part.
