Tomorrow's Truths

  • Cristina Galie
Just when it seems like winter will never end, the forecast grows a little less dire. People begin to spill from the coziness of their flats and into the streets, everything is drenched in raw sunlight; we find ourselves inspired again.
Photographer Sara Sani captures spring’s awakening in an editorial featuring key pieces from this season's women’s collection. Shot just outside of Paris, Sani’s portraits illustrate the feeling of going out on the first nice day of the year, set against the bright pastels of city housing blocks.
The range consists of the iconic bib-overall and Jill coveralls in seasonal colors and cuts – blue stone bleach, pure whites – in canvas and denim. Updated camouflage and graphics across sweatshirts, pants and lightweight jackets provide contrast to the all-purpose garments. Designed to be worn with anything, for everything, the newest collection is straightforward yet undeniably feminine.
The Carhartt WIP Spring/Summer 2016 women’s collection is available at Carhartt WIP stores, selected retailers and online.
