The most beautiful beaches of the Andaman Islands are on Havelock Island, a paradise for lovers of paradisiacal beaches all with transparent blue waters and coral sands. Read here about the Top 5 Beaches in Havelock Island.

1. Vijaynagar Beach

Vijaynagar Beach is one of the favorite beaches on the beaches of the Andaman Islands. At low tide the corals are exposed, and to swim you have to walk. When the tide is high, the water reaches the palm trees that exist on the coral beach and it is possible to swim in the middle of the reefs. It is a wonderful beach with some hotels. The hotels do not have private beaches, which means that you can enjoy the full extent of the beach, whether it is in front of the hotels or not. There is a line of vegetation between the beach and the hotels made up of palm trees and other trees which completely isolates the beach from the local dwellings. There are also some restaurants with great food, adapted to the European palate. It is locally known as Praia 5.

2. Elephant Beach

Getting to Elephant beach is not easy. It is necessary to walk, a small trail of about an hour by the tropical forest, where once there were several elephants. The beach is paradisiacal similar to the beach of Vijaynagar but due to the walking that implies there arrive; it is probable that it has the beach only for itself. Today there are almost no elephants on the island, it is thought that only one or two survive in the wild but there are footprints, so you can find some during the journey.

3. Kalapathar Beach

Kalapather looks like the Caribbean and the image is of completely turquoise blue waters and completely white and immaculate sand. At high tide the beach has reduced sand but at low tide, it exposes the sands and corals. It is a fabulous destination for snorkeling. There is no accommodation here, just a resort in the jungle, so most people come here to spend the day, although the resort is magnificent. It is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Andaman Islands.

4. Prague Govind Nagar

Known locally as Beach 3, this beach is also part of the sandy tongue that stretches along the eastern part of the island where Vijaynagar Beach is. There are more accommodation deals as it is a popular diving destination for Europeans and Asians. The beach is beautiful similar to beach 5, with a wonderful sea and white sand. It is great for bathing and also has several dining options. There are some beachside hotels like the Pellicon Beach Resort (the most popular), the Holiday Inn Beach Resort, the Gold India Beach Resort or the Green Valley Resort. Although all call themselves resorts, they are not truly resorts but they are more hotels. O Symphony Palms Beach Resort which does not have ocean front is more of a normal resort. This is a great option to explore the places of the Andaman Islands.

5. Radhanagar Beach

Radhanagar beach was considered the most beautiful beach in Asia in 2004 and is therefore the most famous and popular of the island. Most Indians are here on the beach and if they decide to stay there, it is up to the local population to share it. The sea has some ripples, unlike the beaches of the eastern part of the island. The beach is beautiful and very extensive. It is more than two kilometers but very crowded. It is the best spot for honeymoon on the island and probably the Andaman to watch the sunset.
