The Common, the late night mecca at Glastonbury that brings together voices from all over the world, marrying ritual and ceremony with hard core rave. We designed a stage that would replicate a sacred object or spiritual being, framing a space that would transport music lovers and artists to another dimension, a desert rave or party paradise, cultivating a true sense of escapism and freedom. An all encompassing space that felt otherworldly, live visuals from Limbic Cinema created a stunning sensory overload for the Common ravers. Built by women and run by women, pioneering the first 100% female build crew, we were committed to highlighting female empowerment and, as a token to the Goddess temple in Glastonbury, the concept followed the iconography of four goddesses.
