In Spain, the biggest project of the year is the campaign for the Spanish Tourism Board (Tour Spain). A winning team formed between Ogilvy & Mather and Aproductions won the bid and saw this project through to the end.
“Spain is Part of You” as the slogan of this international campaign for Tour Spain was presented by the Secretary of State of Tourism, Matilde Asian, Friday the 30th of June.
This project is comprised of a total of 4 commercials, directed by Eduardo Vieitez, each for a different sector that visits Spain: Cosmopolitan, Family, Senior and Distant Markets. The objective of the campaign is to reach a target market that looks for unforgettable experiences and of high purchasing power.
During the project more than 80 professionals working during a month, visiting 25 cities where they filmed in 50 locations. Over 2,000 people turned up during the 10 days casting all over Spain and more than 500 actors attended from all over the world. Of the 2,500 people who showed up only 200 were chosen as leads and over 400 as extras.
Technically speaking the latest equipment was used on land, by sea, and in the air; state-of-the-art cameras, helicopters, camera cars, subaquatic cameras and 360 VR to show Spain to the rest of the world in the best quality imaginable.
Aproductions is the Spanish production company most specialized in tourism campaigns having successfully completed campaigns for the Canary Islands, Madrid, and Segittur (the Spanish State Society dedicated to innovation and new technologies in tourism). They have often worked for the Spanish Tourism Board in the past completing successful campaigns such as “I need Spain” with McCann Worldwide.
