TRANSFERGO - SUMMER CAMPAIGN

Problem In the summer of 2020, because of the pandemic Turkish immigrants who live in Europe mainly in Germany couldn’t come to Turkey. It was a chance for TransferGo to remind its services to people who need to transfer money to Turkey. Research During the pandemic, people were exposed to too much social media communication and it was hard to attract people's attention. So I wanted to prepare a survey with organic social media posts to understand what is the most missed thing about Turkey that TransferGo target audience missed during summertime. Solution After two weeks of organic social surveys and listening it is found that watermelon was the most missed thing about Turkey by the people who are abroad. Creative Idea I used the watermelon as the hero element of the communication and supported the visuals with local phrases about watermelon to deliver TransferGo messages. In that way the campaign delivered easy, secure, affordable money transfer messages in an easy, secure and smart way.

Results
Videos were used in different online display networks to lead people to the TransferGo landing page. During the campaign CTR rates reached %3.85 which is the highest ever among all campaigns.
