The current UK education system is trapped in the past and not developing at the same rate as our constantly shifting, multi- cultural, technology driven society. In order to prepare and give future generations a fair chance in the real world, the education system needs to understand the differences in how people learn rather than enforcing a mass curriculum. The current curriculum teaches our society what to think and fails to teach us how to think. In order to bridge the gap, I propose each school provide a space to escape the restrictions of the curriculum and encourages inspirational teaching, inquisitive thinkers with a love for learning and independent thought.
