Transition Extreme City Campaign

  • Catriona Clarke

Transition Extreme is an Aberdeen local extreme sports facility and charity. They offer sports such as skateboarding, roller skating (Derby), BMX, Rock climbing for all ages and all levels. Their charity side offers classes for troubled kids in school to help build key life skills through these sports. The brief was to create a city campaign to drive footfall and an increase in new members. It was crucial for them to include their voice and personality in the campaign and stray from the corporate identity.

Character Design
I started by designs a variety of characters that vary in age, sport and gender to promote the versatility Transition Extreme have to offer.
Poster Design
The TX logo that the members designed themselves was chosen to help drive the sense of community. I wanted to compliment the quirky illustrations by using bold colours and 3D text to give the overall poster an eye-catching fun aesthetic.
City Campaign
We targeted the bus routes that pass by Transition Extreme and bus stops in which said buses would stop at.
Digital Promotions
I also supplies TX with some digital material to use on their instagram stories or as advertising posts that would link directly to their website and pricing lists.
