Traversing Borders | Artist and Creatives Open Call

Are you a Creative interested in alternative and collaborative experiences that are unseen in art schools or in the art market? Exotero x YAMI-ICHI are looking for four artists to take part in our Traversing Borders programme. At the core of this project is an online art auction that replaces cash payment with non-monetary exchanges. We aim to challenge the current perception of art as a commodity and propose an alternative way of assessing its value. This is a unique opportunity for emerging and established artists to connect with potential clients or future collaborators. The auction is also a chance for artists to practice their self-promotion, networking and negotiation skills in a light-hearted and mutually supportive setting. We welcome artists of all disciplines, especially those with little exhibition experience and those whose practices have been impacted by the turn towards the digital.
