UAL Final Short Film - Depending

For my final piece I decided to tackle a full short film. Due to the nature of my course I was in charge of every aspect of this piece, from casting, directing and prop sourcing to editing, distribution and sound. The story follows a small robot and lonely mother who become friends through their respective sadness. I scratch built the posable robot model, allowing me to animate him for heightened emotion in my film. This film showcases my talent for narrative, character and emotionally driven work, while also representing my practical ability through the visuals, props and editing work. This short film earned me a Distinction, and was showcased at the BFI through shortlisting of media students across the country.
