Ugly ducklings grow up to be swans, right? Not in the case of Ugly Duck which grew to be a full-sized, blank-canvas banger in Bermondsey. Ugly Duck’s spaces are all set within a properly beautiful, 19th century warehouse – and people say Victorian industrial life was hard.
The Loft is arguably Ugly Duck’s most impressive space – with a pretty unparalleled set of beams, exposed brick and original iron supports, it has all the must haves of the warehouse living dream and would be ideal for, well pretty much anything you can fit into the 3,000 sqft. space for up to 120 people. The Loft is usually hired in conjunction with the adjoining Factory space.
Photo-shoot, exhibition, film screening or beam-bouncing party, The Loft has to be a contender.
