Ullapool Unpacked C.I.C. website design

Ullapool Unpacked C.I.C. is a social enterprise set up to help our community produce less waste. Formed in April of 2019 by Evie Strange, we have done this in a number of ways, most recently through a pop-up shop in the Local Village Hall.

Creative Process
The challenge with Ullapool Unpacked C.I.C. website creation involved creating an online platform that reflects the shop’s commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. The website seamlessly blends aesthetics and functionality, providing users with an intuitive, engaging experience that encourages eco-friendly shopping habits. In collaboration with Green Glen Solutions, we added features including detailed product descriptions, educational resources on zero-waste living, and streamlined e-commerce capabilities to facilitate easy and mindful purchasing.

Unique imagery
What made this website so special for me to work on was the custom illustrations created by a fantastic local illustrator. We tried to incorporate the illustrations within the website and use a typeface that mimicked her handwriting when creating the titles. These little touches made this website so rustic and friendly.
