Ultiverse: Research and Development, 2017 In 2017 artist Akeelah Bertram, invited technologist Joanne Armitage and composer Aron Kyne to undertake a 30 day R&D to introduce complex interactions to Ultiverse. I documented the developments with the interactive artworks, audience responses through interviews and the final installation. These public events took place in 3 phases, at Leeds Corn Exchange, Wharf Chambers and East Street Arts’ Patrick Studios. Ultiverse Live, 2018 In 2018 Akeelah Bertram worked with collaborators, participants and a live audience to build a conversational environment and create a live Encounter. The Encounter is an emotive journey inspired by the migration experiences of residents in Leeds. In the environment audience movement triggers voices, sounds and light responses. A collaboration residency at Union 105 resulted in a special event at The Tetley for Light Night Leeds. I documented the 3 month project, alongside 2 other documenters, then I edited a final video of the performance. Ultiverse Video Essay (WIP) Drawing on three months of footage from the collaborative process that took place in the summer of 2018, as well as footage from earlier iterations, I am currently working with Akeelah to create an experimental video essay that documents the temporary community that was built during the project. https://www.ultiverse.org/
