Branding and identity for a new initiative for the UN: Museum for the United Nations - UN Live. UN Live is an exciting ambitious global initiative characterised by the inherent diversity of its audience, with the aim to build an (online and offline) inclusive platform(s) where young people around the world can express action and authorship and engage directly with pressing global challenges. Justified’s task was to build a dynamic brand identity that adapts to different touch-points deploying social engagement and accessibility. This first task for UN Live was the branding. A logo and identity that transcends language, culture & religion to resonate with a global audience. The design challenge was to create a universal rallying symbol that can be used by anyone, that can be changed and personalised by different people within the organisation, as well as its audience and contributors. We then extended the finger-mark concept to roll out a complete visual language across all touch-points of the initiative. The experimental mark-making concept highlights personality and suggests an inclusive platform for self expression, action and authorship. This is our first ongoing project out of Justified Studio. To be updated as things move. Role: Creative Director // Full brand design conception including messaging and digital design/build.
