Unit 6

A collaborative project that challenged us to think of ways UAL could respond to the Climate Crisis. For my contribution, I designed these raised beds for the courtyard at Camberwell. The beds not only provide a space to grow produce for the canteen, but also provide a social space to sit and interact with other students on campus. Researching sustainable materials for this project, I chose to build using rammed earth for its green credentials, but also its beautiful colours.
