Universal Energy Facility

  • Ian Wrigglesworth

The Universal Energy Facility is a multi-donor results-based financing facility. They provide incentive payments to eligible organisations deploying energy solutions and providing verified end-user electricity connections (including mini-grids and solar home systems) and clean cooking solutions based on pre-determined standards. UEF needed a new visual identity to make itself known to stakeholders, governments, and partners. As part of the creative team at Deletec I was involved in the creation a symbolic solution representing their lines of action while relating to the SDG7 characters. The final result consisted of a bold design that reflected the need for mini grids, solar energy, cooking plates and solar panels, combined with the shape of a house roof and agricultural furrows.
